Talking about actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s unfortunate and untimely demise to a news portal, Madhur reportedly said that it has given a strong narrative and introspection to the entire industry. According to him, the actor’s demise is an eye-opener for everybody who aspires to be in the film industry.
Elaborating more, he added that after Sushant’s demise many people have realised how true the things are that I showed in my films about the glamour world. According to him, the glamour world is very harsh and that 99 percent of the film industry doesn’t get success. He also added that the film industry is very frustrating and depressing. One has to fight one’s own battle.
The anger among the public is humungous and will not subside very easily. He was an extremely talented and good-looking actor who did very limited but good movies.
The filmmaker also went on to point out the fact that he has worked with many newcomers and outsiders in his films like Konkona Sen Sharma, Mugdha Godse, Neetu Chandra, Kirti Kulhari, Neil Nitin Mukesh and even Kangana Ranaut. According to him, he always looked for talent. He added that he looks at actors from the perspective of the character.
After Sushant’s demise, his fans have been protesting against some people in Bollywood like Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Salman Khan and others who according to them are either promoting nepotism or are the product of the same.
