The Hindi version of the film witnessed a 15% growth on Saturday, reports Box Office India. Ayan Mukerji’s film minted around Rs 35.50 crore nett on Saturday, bringing the film’s total collection to Rs 66.50 crore nett in two days, the report stated.
The partial holiday in Maharashtra and the south on the first day is also one of the factors that worked in the film’s favor. Collections increased in Maharashtra but witnessed a slight drop in the south mainly because the film outperformed on the first day. Circuit Gujarat/Saurashtra collections increased by 10% and contributed nearly Rs 11 crore nett. Collections also grew in the North, Center and were up 15-30 percent. The Delhi NCR and Punjab belt also witnessed a 30% growth. The film also set an all-time record on the PVR and Cinepolis chains for Hindi films for the highest days ever.
‘Brahmastra’ collected around Rs 35.75 crore nett on Day 1 across India in all languages, and Day 2 collections amount to Rs 39.50 crore nett. This brings the total collection to Rs 75 crore nett in two days.
