A PIL was filed in the Supreme Court on Wednesday for a detailed report of the Mumbai Police investigation into the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and his former manager Disha Salian. This PIL has been filed by advocate Puneet Dhanda. The petition claimed that the two incidents of death are interrelated, as both died under suspicious circumstances.
The petition said, “After the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, a wide variety of conspiracies are coming out between Disha and Sushant’s death, because both died under suspicious circumstances and both were in their professional lives. I was on the highs of success. “28-year-old Disha Saliyan died on June 8 in Malad (West), Mumbai after falling from the 14th floor of a residential building. Similarly, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead under suspicious circumstances at his home in Bandra, a suburb of Mumbai, on 14 June. The Mumbai Police is investigating the matter from various aspects.
It has been said in the petition that after observing the investigation report of the Mumbai Police, if the Supreme Court does not find it satisfactory, then it should also refer the matter to the Central Bureau of Investigation. The petition has also requested to direct the Mumbai Police to cooperate with the Bihar Police investigating the case of Sushant Singh Rajput.
Earlier in the day, during the hearing on the petition of actress Riya Chakraborty, the Supreme Court had said that the truth of the death of talented actor Sushant Singh Rajput must be revealed. Also, a single bench of Justice Hrishikesh Roy directed the Government of Maharashtra and Bihar as well as Krishna Kishore Singh, father of Sushant Singh Rajput, to file a reply on the petition of actress Riya Chakravati within three days.
During the hearing, the Center had informed the court that it has accepted the recommendation of the Bihar government to refer the matter to the Central Bureau of Investigation.
