The Sandman | Official Trailer | Netflix

Dream Dangerously. Enter the world of THE SANDMAN on August 5, only on Netflix.

There is another world that waits for all of us when we close our eyes and sleep — a place called the Dreaming, where The Sandman, Master of Dreams (Tom Sturridge), gives shape to all of our deepest fears and fantasies. But when Dream is unexpectedly captured and held prisoner for a century, his absence sets off a series of events that will change both the dreaming and waking worlds forever. To restore order, Dream must journey across different worlds and timelines to mend the mistakes he’s made during his vast existence, revisiting old friends and foes, and meeting new entities — both cosmic and human — along the way.

Based on the beloved award-winning DC comic series written by Neil Gaiman, THE SANDMAN is a rich, character-driven blend of myth and dark fantasy woven together over the course of ten epic chapters following Dream’s many adventures. Developed and executive produced by Gaiman, showrunner Allan Heinberg, and David S. Goyer.

  1. a the crow wannabe series/ movie pops up from time to time. appealing to the emo goth kids. but its just that a appeal. reminds me more of mindfreak. they are all cringe. except the crow. lucifer is better less drama more story focus

  2. i’m reading the book and am super excited to start the series but good god trailer, we get it, the series is about dreams

  3. Easily one of my favorite adaptations in a long time. Let there be a season 2!

  4. Narcissist ( only logic thinking with out empty and no boundaries) version of Lucifer's story. 😮‍💨🤦🙄

I 'll stick with the version with empathy mix message setting boundaries.

  5. This was an amazing watch!

  6. such a poor character writing aspecially the actress i mean she is absolutely stupid to defend people who are selfish , i mean it felt like director went off the script and went too personal about the storyline

  7. show is great especially episode 5 but unfortunately was too gay for me. that waitress bette goes from being straight to kissing that other chic, i kind of threw in the towel after that, i kept on watching but episode 7 was the end for me. BUT Cobra Kai is here baby so moving on.

  8. "Wow that was a good show"

Netflix: Okay, then we'll cancel season 2 and give you crappy ones

  9. Pleaseeeeee do not cancel omfg I'm throw a fit and yeet someone out my window

  10. The made death black interesting 💀

  11. This series is rubbish. I have no idea why everyone is raving about it.

  12. To anybody who's reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the dark thoughts, the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind. May clarity replace confusion. May peace and calmness fill your life. ❤Please Click My Name If You need More Of This🙏🏼

  13. I don't like so many shows on Netflix but this one and the Witcher I do love. Also, Timetravellers and The OA were very good – pity Netlfix cancelled these after awhile.

  14. Extremely creepy and freakish. Very gay. Guess it's accurate. Never read the comic.

  15. You Will Never As Long Im Alive

  16. Good always win in the end

  17. ( #21 ) Nightmare’s Do Not Belong To Awaking World

  18. CGI is great and all yeah but waste of time watching this.

  19. The bar is so low that people consider this as a good show… my God!!!

  20. I wonder if he said "it's morphing time!"

  21. Nobody wanted to see two dudes making out DISLIKE 👎

  22. I wish they would show the uncut version here. I heard so much was deleted. We need the rated R version here.

  23. With a budget of 15 Million per episode… nothing but quality is should b expected

  24. Bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla 😆😅😁 what a boring thing 🤢🤮

  25. I heard this a movie I’ve gotta see so imma look at this trailer

  26. I don't know how it's going to go for the rest of the episodes but so far, the first episode is boring as 💩.

  27. Brilliant adaptation. Extremely faithful, and removing the DC stuff actually grounded and made the story better imo. Would love season 2.

  28. Ngl this movie is so gave me goosebumps..the acting skill from the actor itself its so perfect ..I'm waiting for season 2 and hoping for netflix not cancelling this show cause this show got a highly chance to be far i already watched it 3 times repeatedly for a month..

  29. Gender Swap, Color, 'Sword fighting' and ' scissors' well tune in todays political climate 🤢 Great Story tho.

  30. hello I am vietnamese,I very like this film

  32. Neil Gaiman sold out his series originality for Netflix clout.

  33. If you don’t renew this show, I’m canceling your service

  34. Another LGBT propaganda. 99% of couples are straight in real life. They have to stop it

  35. I'm completely stunned that this was based on a comic book. I've literally just finished the show and had no idea until I saw this comment. It never gave off the vibe in the slightest to me that it was based on a comic.

  36. Seeing Trip as a sadistic serial killer is really throwing me off lol.

  37. Great show. But really to accept homosexuality as a part of our society. Do we really have to have every second character be gay?

  38. Great story and visuals. Too bad it just felt like woke propaganda every single episode. Way to aggressive about it that it is embarrassingly odd. Had much more potential than what it gave because it tried far to hard to adhere to the 2022 wokeness

  39. Watched this show to 5th episode and be like :wow, he's the main bag guy. Nope,he's dead. must be him, Nope, he's dead too, she? Nope, dead also. Her son? Missed again. Wtf?

  40. Disjointed, uneven, lacking in focus and dull. The first episode was over-hyped, the writings all over the place and it's just going nowhere. Style over substance… . Episode 6 with Death was easily the best & most focused – then the follow up episode was close to un-watchable so bailed completely… v poor.

  41. Not seen it yet but looks very good.

  42. I have a question for the producers: was Tom Sturridge directed to play Sandman as a zombie with no personality, did he make that choice, or was it a case of all the actors who could have given this role some color booked elsewhere? This would have been so much better with a richer character.

  43. The old man of sandman ept sucks😡😡😡😡

  44. He killed 5 innocent people's😡😡

  45. Make sure you let Netflix know how much you loved this show and give it a double thumbs up if you wanna see more of it, and more like it. Please don’t let this one get dropped. Phenomenal casting, cg, and dialogue.

  46. 🥰😍🤩 Loved this series .. PLEASE continue on!!!

  47. I didn't read the book, but I was able to see the show. It is too LGBTQ+ for me. I could not stand the gay kissing parts and the transgender agenda. In the name of inclusiveness this show is nothing than another proof of Hollywood fall out. The feminist is push at he paroxysm. Lucifer, Constantine, demons, nightmare, vortex there are all female characters. I got tired of feminist so I cannot call a well balance movie movie. This is not kids friendly at all. Glad to see it but won't' look for the season 2.
